1.1. Depending on the purpose and quality indicators, wrapping paper should be produced in nine grades:
A - from sulfate unbleached cellulose;
B - from sulfate wrapping pulp
B - from sulfite unbleached cellulose;
G - from sulfite wrapping pulp and wood pulp;
O - from sulfate, sulfite bleached cellulose;
О - from sulfate, sulfite bleached cellulose, sulfite, unbleached cellulose and wood pulp
D - from unbleached cellulose, semi-cellulose and wood pulp
E - from waste paper, unbleached cellulose and fibrous waste from pulp and paper production.
F - composition is not standardized.

1.2. Paper of grades B, G, E and Zh, intended for packaging food products and medicines, must be made with a composition approved by the USSR Ministry of Health.

1.3. Paper must be produced in rolls and sheets. The width of the rolls and the dimensions of sheet paper are established by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.5. Papers of grades V, D, O and O intended for printing must be manufactured with an ash content of at least 8% and a breaking length of at least 1700 m.

2.5a. By agreement with the consumer, it is allowed to produce paper of grades A and E with a moisture content of up to 11%.

2.6. Folds, tears, holes that cannot be detected during the rewinding process are allowed in rolled paper if the mass of sheets with such defects, determined according to GOST 13525.5, does not exceed 5%, and in rolled paper intended for processing on automatic machines Food Industry, - 3%.

2.7. For paper intended for processing in automatic machines, the winding of the roll paper must be uniform and tight, and the edges must be cut smooth and clean.

3. ACCEPTANCE

3.1. Determination of the batch and sample size - according to GOST 8047.

3.2. If unsatisfactory test results are obtained for at least one of the indicators, repeated tests are carried out on a double sample from the same batch.
The results of repeated tests apply to the entire batch.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1a. Sampling and preparation for testing - in accordance with GOST 8047.

4.1. Conditioning of paper before testing and testing is carried out according to GOST 13523 at relative humidity air (50±2)% and temperature (23±1) °C.
Conditioning duration is at least 2 hours.

4.3. When determining the mass fraction of ash, the calcination temperature is set to (575±25) °C according to GOST 7629.

5. PACKAGING, LABELING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Packaging, labeling, storage and transportation - in accordance with GOST 1641 with the following addition:

5.1.1. The marking of paper not intended for packaging food products is supplemented with the warning label “non-food grade”.

5.2. The diameter of the roll must be at least 50 cm. At the request of consumers, a roll diameter of at least 35 cm is allowed, not intended for processing in automatic machines.

The standard providing for the production and characteristics of wrapping paper is GOST 8273-75. It specifies all the standards associated with this material, affecting the quality of the finished product, permissible dimensional deviations, as well as storage and transportation conditions.

Specifications

Products of Pakland LLC, manufactured in accordance with GOST, comply with all sanitary and hygiene standards and can be used in food packaging. The following grades of paper are available:

The density of the material varies from 60 to 160 g/m2, and 80 g/m2 is the most popular today.
