Price, auto search

False positives, delay between commands

It has not proven itself to be a signaling device at all. It honks when it shouldn't, but it doesn't honk when it needs to. Other functions work fine. I took it because of auto start, central locking and remote trunk opening. I have enough of this

Range

I wrote a review earlier. I'll update in a year. Nothing has changed, literally at all. I just turned off the shock sensor altogether for the winter, because... car in a guarded parking lot. Now there is a constant need for a shock sensor, I connected it and the same thing happened again. Moreover, a third new shock sensor was installed (!) Attention. All the same dances with the tambourine, I mean coarsening, moving it to different places wherever possible. THE LIARS ARE FUCKED. I don’t know who is downvoting my review, but the problem actually occurs, and on the third shock sensor. WELL, NOTHING affects the car, but it constantly makes itself known with fakes, or rather whitefish. Alligator technical support if the bottom line is we just have our heads in the sand and don’t know anything, the whitefish is excellent, no one has any problems with it. Yes, yes, we willingly believe and let’s take it off our ears, obviously Alligator technical support has no idea about the existence of the Internet. I understand everything, I understand that they cannot solve the problem over the phone, but I did not see their attempts to help solve the problem (standard excuse phrases like, well, try turning off the sensor and see) do not count.

Well, friends, I’ll do an anti-advertising for this whitefish model. Stay away from it, judging by the reviews, not everyone really has this problem, but there is a chance that you will have it even then... simply indescribable “sex” with constant brain drain due to false positives is guaranteed for you, and even do not think about any warranty replacements, etc., because... technical support will tell you something like, they are not responsible for the crookedness of the installers and most likely the problem is with them, and replacement is not possible, because the presentation is lost well, of course, this is not a flash drive.

Anti-HiJack Mode (AVRTM)

If the corresponding programmable function (function No. 1.10) is enabled, you can use the Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) mode (anti-robbery function).
Enabling Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) mode proceeds as follows:
- In the event that you suspect the possibility of an attack or feel danger, you can activate the Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) function in advance by simultaneously pressing and holding the "Lock Closed" and "Lock Open" buttons of the transmitter for 3 seconds with the ignition on. In this case, the siren will give 1 short confirmation signal and the system LED will flash and remain on for 5 seconds.
- The transmitter speaker will emit 1 short beep and/or the built-in vibrator will turn on 1 time, and the flashing “Gun” symbol will appear on the transmitter’s LCD display for 5 seconds.
Once the AVRTM function has been activated, it will operate the first time a vehicle door is opened. If you are forced to leave your vehicle, the function
Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) will work immediately after you open the door.
Note: To protect yourself and your vehicle in a parking lot, activate the AVRTM function before leaving the vehicle. This will protect you even if your car keys and system transmitter key fob are taken from you after you have parked your car and armed the system. If you are attacked and your car keys and transmitter are taken away, the Anti-HiJack mode timer (AVRTM) will begin immediately after the system is disarmed and the ignition is turned on. Disable this mode using the system's transmitter keychain will no longer be possible.

Anti-HiJack mode (AVRTM) activation:
1) After the ignition has been turned on for a total of 50 seconds after the Anti-HiJack function is turned on, the siren will turn on and sound short warning signals for 7 seconds. The transmitter speaker will sound alarms for 15 seconds and/or for 15 seconds
The built-in vibrator will turn on. The turn signal symbols will flash on the transmitter LCD for 30 seconds. The Gun symbol will flash until the Anti-HiJack (AVR™) mode is disabled.
2) After 7 seconds, the siren will start working continuously and the vehicle's direction indicators will flash. If the vehicle's ignition is turned off at this moment, the system will immediately turn on the engine blocking circuits.
3) Another 30 seconds after the siren turns on, the starter interlock circuits will turn on. The siren and turn signals will continue to operate and the engine will remain disabled until the vehicle's battery is completely discharged.
Note: If the active and safe engine shutdown function is turned on in the Anti-HiJack mode (function No. 1.11) and the necessary connections are made, then in the 3rd stage of the Anti-HiJack mode the engine will be gradually forcibly turned off: within 30 seconds the vehicle's ignition circuit will periodically break for a split second, thereby causing the vehicle speed to decrease to a safe level, after which the ignition circuit and the vehicle starter circuit will be blocked.

How to install?

1. Installation Alligator 825:
2. Before starting work, it is advisable to turn off the power to the on-board network. But this does not need to be done if the car has an audio system with a programmed code. There is no need to disconnect the battery if the car is equipped with airbags. To prevent battery discharge during connection, we recommend removing the safety device and the interior lighting circuits.
3. Remove the steering column trim and dismantle the instrument panel. Depending on the machine, it may be fixed differently. Usually the device is attached using self-tapping screws; they need to be unscrewed with a screwdriver.
4. After removing the control panel, select a location to mount the processor module. It is advisable that it does not come into contact with electronic devices or other wires, as this may lead to malfunctions of the Alligator 825. The module is fixed using self-tapping screws, glue or double-sided tape.
5. Mount the antenna module on the windshield. It should also not be mounted near electrical wires or devices that may emit interference.
6. Study the diagram that is included in the package, as well as the installation kit of wires for connection. Using a multimeter, test the wires that run under the left threshold of the car and the driver's door. Please note that the cable colors match. There is a parking brake indicator on the dashboard connector. You need to make sure of it— ring the electrical circuit to which the sensor is connected. User manual

Using all the Alligator alarm functions is possible only after binding the communicator to the processor unit.

The binding procedure is performed as follows:

1. Disable security mode, get into the car and install the key in the lock.
2. Turn it to the ON position to turn the ignition on. Within fifteen seconds after this action, click on the service button three times. The car's lights will blink and the siren will emit one signal.
3. Press any button on the communicator. The siren will emit another signal, only longer. This indicates successful binding of the remote control.
4. The remaining pagers are linked in the same way.
5. To exit bind mode, turn off the ignition and simply wait 15 seconds; no action is required.

Setting up autorun

Automatic start of the internal combustion engine is possible only after preparing the car (we are talking about a car with a manual transmission):

1. Stop the car, the engine should be running. Move the gear selector to the neutral speed position.
2. Turn the key to the Off position to turn off the ignition. The power unit will continue to operate at idle speed.
3. Leave the car and turn on the security mode for one minute.

Remote motor start by command:

1. Double-click on the pager button in the shape of a snowflake. This must be done in three seconds.
2. The communicator will emit a melodic or vibration signal. An icon in the form of smoke from an exhaust pipe will appear on the remote control screen.
3. After a couple of seconds, the Alligator 825 will begin the process of starting the motor. An indicator in the form of hourglass, this symbol, as well as the smoke icon from the muffler, will blink.
4. 90 seconds after the engine has been started, the system will begin activating all devices and devices that have been programmed by the user to turn on. We are talking about the air conditioning system, heating system, etc.
5. While the engine is running, the car's lights will blink.
6. One minute before the powertrain stops, the main communicator will emit a warning tone.

Cases in which a motor started by command is turned off:

• engine speed began to randomly increase or decrease;
• the hood of the car was open;
• the brake pedal was pressed;
• worked.

If the engine does not start remotely:

1. Carry out diagnostics of the correct connection of all elements and electrical circuits of the complex.
2. Check the voltage level in the electrical network of the machine, as well as safety devices. Voltage diagnostics is carried out between the ground wire (its color is black) and the red contact of the power plug. If the voltage level is correct, the 30 amp fuse and one 3 amp fuse are checked.
