Each task is assessed with a certain number of points: than more difficult task, the more points you can get for it. For correct completion of tasks in the Unified State Examination in the Russian language, 1 to 5 points are given depending on the complexity of the task. In this case, you can get from 0 to 24 points for the essay.

After this, the primary score is converted into a test score, which is indicated in the Unified State Examination certificate. This score is used for admission to higher education institutions. Transfer of Unified State Examination points carried out using a special point scale.

Many graduates ask how many points they need to score on the Unified State Exam in a particular subject. The Russian language, like mathematics, usually arouses the greatest interest.

Minimum score

It should be noted that Russian is a compulsory subject on the Unified State Examination. Successfully completing the minimum level allows you to receive a certificate of secondary general education. A score of “2” is given for a result from 0 to 35 points. In this case, the exam is considered failed. The test in a compulsory subject can be retaken on special reserve days (but this can only be Russian or mathematics - re-taking the test in both subjects in the same year is not allowed). If the additional exam was also failed, the student has the right to retake it only next year. Thus, in order to pass the Unified State Exam in Russian the first time, you need to score at least 36 points.

How many points do C, A, and A students need?

If you get an A in your Russian language certificate, you shouldn’t worry about the Unified State Exam lowering your grade. The results of the Unified State Exam have no influence on final school grades for a long time. Nevertheless, there is a scale for converting test results into the usual five-point system:

0–35 - two;
36–57 - three;
58–71 - four;
72 and above - five.

Thus, if your result is at least 72 points, then consider that it corresponds to an excellent certificate. If you score, for example, 65 points, that is, get a B, this will not affect the grade on the certificate. The result will be indicated only in a special certificate of passing the Unified State Exam.

How many points do you need to enter the university?

For most graduates of the Unified State Exam, it is not only the main exam that allows them to obtain a certificate of secondary education, but also the entrance test to a higher educational institution. It is difficult to say how many points in the Russian language you need to score to enter the university. It all depends on the number of budget places, the prestige of the educational institution, competition, etc. In addition, today, when entering universities, the sum of points for all entrance examinations is taken into account. Thus, their exact number is important for any direction where Russian is required for admission.

Whether such a system is good or not is quite difficult to determine. On the one hand, it obliges you to prepare equally intensively in all subjects, on the other hand, it gives you a chance even if the scores in the main discipline are not equal to 100. For example, in order to enroll in the undergraduate journalism department of Moscow State University in 2016, applicants had to pass four exam (Russian and foreign languages, literature and an additional entrance test of a creative orientation), each of which was assessed on a 100-point scale. The final result, on the basis of which admission took place, was the sum of points scored in each subject.

Since 2001, many schoolchildren have been familiar with the new kind exam - Unified State Exam (Unified State Exam), despite the fact that its implementation in the system school education happened smoothly, they didn’t become less afraid of him. Future graduates are interested in questions about the number of upcoming exams, but also about the scores they should receive.

Unified State Examination scores

There are three types of minimum points that students can receive based on the results of passing the Unified State Exam:

  • The first type gives the right to receive a certificate;
  • The second makes it possible to submit documents to higher educational institutions in the country;
  • The third is sufficient for admission on a budgetary basis in a specific specialty at a specific university in the country.

It is not surprising that for many students, the Unified State Exam has become a rather strong emotional test; in fact, you shouldn’t stress yourself out too much before taking the exams, you need to prepare well and be confident in yourself. Despite all the rigor of the procedure, this is just an exam that can be retaken in case of failure. With proper training and approach, passing the Unified State Exam is not so difficult.

The Unified State Exam forms contain various tasks; they must be completed within a certain time; as they complete them, the student receives primary points; each subject has its own maximum values. When checking the level of knowledge, the primary scores are converted into final scores and they are entered into the certificate; they are the main ones for admission to a university.

Many universities announce in advance the score required for admission to a budget place, this allows you to realistically assess your chances of getting into your chosen educational institution, as well as select the most suitable options. In 2018, no major changes are expected when passing the Unified State Exam and entering a university; students can rely on the data from the previous year, so in 2017 for educational institutions In the capital, the passing score was 80 - 90; for other cities the requirements are not so high and vary between 65 - 75 points.

Will there be changes in 2018?

At first glance, there is simply nothing to change in the education system, however, the level of education in our country is getting lower and lower every year, it is reasonable to conclude that it is time to change everything. It’s hard for everyone: students, their parents, and of course, teachers. The requirements are getting higher and higher every year; for many, the exam is stressful; some cannot cope with such pressure.

Today, mathematics and Russian are compulsory subjects, with plans to add more in 2018. Since 2009, compulsory exams have been held in subjects that are not only graduation from school, but also entrance to universities in our country. It is not surprising that there are plans to introduce history as another compulsory subject. It is planned to implement the plan in 2018 or 2019; in any case, the data will either be confirmed or refuted very soon.

Attitude to the Unified State Exam

Since 2001, the attitude towards the Unified State Exam is still relevant, some oppose its implementation, others defend it as progress in the education system, and there are those who do not emphasize it, continuing to study and teach.
